The Digital Walking Stick for visually impaired people which innovative product which allows the visually impaired to scan their surroundings to detect obstacles in approximate distance. It is also helpful for other people to enable them to identify individuals with visual impairment and take appropriate care for them. Digital stick is cost effective compared to the ordinary white cane which is imported. It also helps to increase the independence and productivity of people who are visually impaired and provide better access to working areas.

Instructions to use the Digital walking stick:

(i) TURN ON the stick by push down the right and light buttons where right button used to turn on all system of the stick while left button used to mute the sound when the user reached in quiet place in order to avoid disturbance the attendees.

(ii) Carry the stick in front of your foot in approximate distance which is around three or four feet of the user. When Digital stick makes sound and vibration, direct visual impaired people must stop and return left or right position until across away from the obstacles.

(iii) Folding the stick when you reached in the cars or transporter in order to safe your stick

(iv) If the stick started to sound low sound, it means you are in 100 cm distance and high sound; the user is between 50 to 0 distances from obstacles.

(v) If the user reached on destination place, they must remember to TURN OFF their Digital stick for future power saving.
